making my body and my mind more healthy. I've grown to realize that this feeling can be shared with others! Not through words, but through showing them for themselves."

Being a personal trainer has been a perfect way for Maria to use her many talents and desires to help others. It is her personal goal to assist others in reaching every fitness and life goal that they dream of accomplishing.

Not only does she help these people by guiding and training them, but also by living the example. Take a look at her wedding prep pictures. Those pictures alone tell how Maria knows her stuff when it comes to physique transformation.

In 2003 Maria and Zach expanded their influence base to training trainers for a living. Since Maria had so effectively helped individuals she wanted to work with other trainers and teach them to effectively train their clients. Similar to her husband, Maria took a position as Director of Personal Training over a large corporate gym. At one point she had 8 trainers working under her guidance in her facility. She also worked with Zach assisting in fundamental training programs for trainers. This was the point where Zach and Maria realized it was time to branch out on their own and purchase a gym facility.

Now, Maria works right along side her husband in the BodyLabZ facility in Spring, Texas. You can stop in to BodyLabZ anytime and see this kind and caring woman apply her fine touch of elegance and passive toughness with her clients.

4. Lori Epperson
- Certifications: CPT, Rehabilitation Specialist, AIFE Older Adult Certified
- Specialties:
Rehabilitation and older adult training
- Stats:
Female
- Years Training: 3 Years
- Years Working Out: Since 2000
- About Lori:
Lori Epperson lives what she preaches. Four years prior to becoming a trainer Lori was 200lbs and miserable. In her words, miserable would be "an understatement." This feeling paired with zero energy provoked Lori to take her nutrition seriously to lose weight. After a bit of education and a lot of eating habit change Lori shrunk down to the low 120's. That is a total of 75+lbs!

Even after losing all of the weight Lori had a few other ailments and very little functional strength. Lori has a bone spur in her neck and lost feeling in three fingers in her right hand. The doctors told her she wouldn't regain that feeling without surgery. Lori knew deep down she could do it on her

own and so began her journey to rehabilitation. Soon after resolving to fix herself she became a client of BodyLabZ/Fit Yourself In in their rehabilitation program. Teaming with a chiropractor and doing rehab exercises at the studio Lori's pain rapidly disappeared within a month. Her depression disappeared and her energy, drive and desire went through the roof. It was at this point she realized that health and fitness was a lifestyle and not a temporary fix to a problem.

As she continued on her program she noticed that her quality of life improved. Not only was she able to perform everyday functions without pain, but she was able to hike, kick around the soccer ball again, and do activities that she could only do in her youth. This was enough for Lori to make the change and go back to get her personal training education.

Three years later Lori has helped numerous clients to realize what she had learned, training is a way of life. She now uses her experiences to influence and assist others achieve their best bodies.

In 1994 Zach started training right out of high school. He admits that he wasn't the most effective trainer when he first started, but did help a lot of people stay consistent with their workouts. Although he held different jobs through out his university career he always was training someone whether it was a friend, an athlete from the university, or a client looking for weight loss or better self esteem.

Zach may have been working out since 1991 and working as a trainer or fitness consultant on and off since 1994, but it doesn't mean it's been an easy road with a lifetime of fitness. In 2001 while playing competitive volleyball Zach injured his knee and required therapy. It took three months to recover and an additional three to recover mentally from knowing he was supposedly never "able to play high impact sports again." You can see from the above before pictures that Zach's muscles started to atrophy and a belly started to spread. For the first time in his life he realized that he couldn't eat anything he pleased and that only through hard work would he truly have the body he wanted. Zach took it on himself to do something about his appearance and his diminished confidence levels.

Since that dramatic transformation in 2001 Zach has focused on sharing the health and fitness gift that changed his life. In that time he has helped countless people from around the world transform their bodies into that of what they once dreamed of. "Once people reach new heights that they never imagined possible it starts to generalize over to other parts of their life", Zach exclaims excitedly. "I've had clients that started modeling, change careers, asked for raises they weren't sure they should ask for, earn a starting position on their college teams, and rescue themselves from depression and illnesses related to obesity", he continues.

In 2003 Zach and Maria expanded their influence base to training trainers for a living. Since Zach had so effectively helped individuals he wanted to work with other trainers and teach them to effectively train their clients. He took a position as Director of Personal Training for a large corporate gym and increased his sphere of influence dramatically. At one point he had 20 trainers working under his guidance in his facility. "Can you imagine the amount of lives my efforts were helping?", Zach says smiling ear to ear, "With 10 full time trainers that have around 12-20 clients at a time and 10 part time trainers with 5-10 my efforts were duplicated hundreds of times over!" With this team he was able to win awards in his company for the feats they helped their clients reach, customer services related accomodations, and quota related bonuses. He was also in charge of running fundamental training programs for trainers. This was the point where Zach and Maria realized it was time to branch out on their own and purchase a gym facility.

With his wife and his team of trainers Zach is able to continue to train trainers in his own facility while also training his clients. He uses his diverse background of personal training, counseling, motivational speaking, teaching, professional public speaking, and athletic knowledge to assist others reach their personal and physical dreams.

When asked to describe Zach Marcy a current client of his emphatically said, "always smiling, always encouraging and always positive." "Oh", she adds, "and his workouts are very intense. Come prepared to sweat and to change your body."

Some of Zach's other accomlishments:
- Award winning bodybuilder: 3rd place Middle Weight class in 2003 Mr. Georgia
